Introduction

Lightspark provides a simple way to create invitations that can be used between multiple VASPs (Virtual Assets Service Providers). Upon opening an invitation, an invitee will be presented with a list of VASPs that are available in their country and be able to claim the invitation, which will inform the inviter.
UMA invitations can be tied to the UMA.ME Incentives Program to incentivize users and VASPs to register new UMA addresses and send transactions using the UMA standard, but it is not a requirement.

Overview

There are 5 steps to the invitation flow:
  1. The inviter VASP will create an invitation using the Lightspark SDK.
  2. The inviter will share the invitation URL with the invitee using the communication channel of their choice.
  3. The invitee will open the invitation, be presented with a list of VASPs available in their region, and select one.
  4. The invitee will onboard with his selected VASP, go through KYC, and create their UMA.
  5. The invitee VASP will claim the invitation and Lightspark will let the inviter VASP know that the invitation was claimed.
